Good cooking book : The first thing this book does is explain why fad diets do not work, because they are not sustainable, and therefore you go back to your original way of eating which causes the yo-yo effect and you gain it all back. It also stated that cravings are a sign of a nutrient missing in the body. This diet breaks down as the Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension. It was originally designed for just that, and not specifically for weight loss. The recipes were well written and easy to follow and there are plenty of great ones to choose from. Definitely a good cookbook for anyone looking to eat healthier.

Recipes for each day of the year : If you are looking to lose weight and/or lower your blood pressure with delicious, yet low-sodium recipes; then you really need to take a look at this cookbook. It literally gives you enough recipes to have something different every day for an entire year. Plus, they are budget friendly, which is a definite plus in this economy. There are so many flavorful recipes like: creamy oatmeal with honey and raspberry seeds; kale vegetable soup; pork tenderloin with apples and sweet potatoes. And, that's just a few of the many recipes in this cookbook.

Great DASH cookbook : This is a great cookbook for those following the DASH diet. This cookbook has 365 days worth of DASH friendly recipes that focus on fresh and whole ingredients. The DASH diet can help lower high blood pressure and can help you lose weight. There are several tips for following the diet to help you be successful. There are also four weeks of meal plans to help get you started. There is a big variety of foods in the recipes and definitely many that I want to try.

Complete information. : DASH Diet Cookbook for beginners presents many recipes to take care of your body by reducing your weight and blood pressure, at the same time. It also provides a 365-day budget plan, so you can just follow it and see results instantaneously. Sodium affects our bodies in a negative way, the good thing is that each recipe is based on a low sodium diet, which is good for us.

Dash Diet : If you're looking to lose weight and get your blood pressure under control then you need to be on the DASH diet. Having this cookbook took all the guesswork out for my father.
